Water distiller for making oil

Hey all I have been making oil with a rice cooker for years and my cousin was down from BC and tells me he uses a water distiller. Anyone have any experience? I have tried googling it and I have found a couple of videos that make it look super simple. Also a water distiller ranges between $90 and $190 and it reclaims the alcohol. Compared to a turbo source or super flower tower... if anyone has any pros or cons or knows of anyone using one ??? Thanks in advance guys

I use one, but for making moonshine... never thought of using it for making oil... With moonshine, it makes about 40% alcohol, and it does stink up the place... I've never let it run dry, it is supposed to shut off automatically, but so is a rice cooker, and it kept burning my oil so I stopped using it.

I'd be very curious of any thoughts on using it... I think mine was somewhere around the $200 mark, I've had it for years...

A buddy of mine uses one for old bottles of wine lol...if ya like makin moon shine though
A water distiller is too hot ..you can use it to take it down but again..it hits temps of 220 degrees where as the rice cooker only hits 170 and shuts off if you forget!! :)

for medication 100%
for smoking...not so much (:

nah, we smoked lots of it, very clean and always tasted great.

I used to take all the scrapings that wouldnt go into syringes , smoked fine and was a very nice high.

If i could get everclear here where i live, i would only use this method for making our rso, but alas, its only sold in Alberta, so iso is product of choice. QWISO still pulls beautfiul golden rso and smokes nicely once its all evapped off with the right heat.

nahhh lol
what you fail to realize is .....HEAT kills TASTE. !
but hey if ya liked it GREAT!
Seriously? What you fail to realize is that medicine does not have to taste good to be effective. If I put it in a cap then there is no taste at all.

I used to use Everclear but it is difficult to get and way too expensive. Given a choice I went with iso. I found the Everclear left a taste behind, like corn, disgusting.
