Water Temp in res.

How important is water tempature in a resevoir? I just made a homemade rubbermaid sprinkler type dealy thing and I am concerned that the water is too hot? Any advice would be great thanks

not real sure haven't used a thermometer just feels pretty hot

one of the problems with hot water is that it festersbactiera growth an to hot will burn roots as for to cold well that stunts growth..you want to find a ballence inbetween 60-80 degrees'...just my 2 tho...peace

I Use A Cheap Thermometer, To Measure Water, And Ambient Temps And Soil Temps

you can get fish tank thermometer at wall-mart,it floats and has a suction cup to hold it to where ever you put it.My res stays around 63 to 68 all the time.Below 75 is good and below 75 is better.It's in the facts what the best temp.I think it from 60 to 68 is the best range.PEACE
