Random question bud.. Without context the answer is "A while" with little to no light exposure, certainly a lot longer.. I find that no matter what, I end up with growth on the pipes after a few weeks, and give them and the pump a good rinse. My res gets new supply every week and for the most part, stays super clean and healthy.
