I have been flowering two plants in a cab with a 150w hps and 350w of cfls and a led grow panel. Its hot as shit where i live. Gets to 110 outside and the cab is getting up to 90 during day when i have the lights off. I am trying to help this along with putting 5-8 frozen water bottles in the cab and I have 3 fans blowing as well. I have noticed when i was vegging that i only needed to water once every 3 days. But now it seem slike they want water every 2 days. I am guessing from the high heat and because they are flowering and I have herd they drink more when flowering. So am i ok to be watering everyother day. I have been checking to make sure soil is dry before I do so as well. Thanks for any info guys.

That's normal, as long as the soil is drying out you need to water them. After the 3rd or 4th week, I end up watering every other day...Could be the heat, could be your soil is draining well and the plant is taking up what you're putting in...Don't hold off watering because of the time in between

you definitely dont want to over-water as it can cause other problems such as root rot, water-log. like Ozut said, let the medium dry out some, you want the roots to take this up. You want them exploring for new intake.

The heat is a problem. Cannabis can flourish in up to 90+ degree weather, but I think I have read it requires additional CO2 input. Maybe I'm wrong, I would research it.

I can't really agree or disagree about the plants drinking/consuming more in flower, I've not heard that, but again, I would need to research.

Time doesnt matter really, waiting for the soil to dry before you water again is the important part. Follow that and youll be good no matter how often or far between waterings are needed.

It's not that they drink more when they're flowering....It's more that when they get to that point in flower, the roots have filled out the pot and are able to take up more of what you give...More roots means more uptake....
