How are you guys figuring out the wattage of your set ups? How do you know how much power it is drawing.
I bought a large above ground swing pool in the same month as I set up my grow tent. So it would be nice to know how much I am paying for the grow set up.
Thanks to anyone that helps me, you guys are great.

The manufacturer should say on your equipment what it draws. Some of use have the ability to measure it, depends on your comfort level with electricity.

(Wattage of equipment) X (Number of hours per day) X 30 ÷ 1,000 = kilowatts per month

For instance a 600w for veg would be:
600 X 18 X 30 ÷ 1,000 = 324 kilowatt hours a month

Or a 1,000w for flower room:
1,000 X 12 X 30 ÷ 1,000 = 360 kilowatt hours

Then of course, do this for every piece of equipment, and add all the kilowattage together to find your absolute total.

The 30 represents the days of the month. Divide by 1,000 because...math
