watts best?

Watts best? I need a 1000 watts of flourecents what's best cool whites t5s cfls daylight bulbs and so on ?right now I have a few t5s cfls and a 4 ft cool white. But 1000 watts just seems a lot what would be the best way to acheive this with out makin an oven.....?

.....1000w of CFL is a ridiculous waste of time, think about it, adding more CFL lights does NOT add any more light, it just adds the same lumens, over a larger area.

You would be much better off investing in an HID light. 1000w hps puts out 140 000 lumens, compared to the average 2600 lumens from a big cfl. Even 100 CFLs it will still only be 2600 lumens, just over a greater area.

A 600w HPS, or even a 1000w HPS with a cool tube or any air cooled hood will give you bigger, denser, better buds, you will have less crap to deal with too because it will be 1 light doing way way way way more than all the CFLs it would take to add 1000w.

I suggest researching more on lighting, especially HID lighting.
