Been there done that. Same outcome.

They just go to the holes in the bottom of the pot then.
Yes. Exactly what you want it’s like baiting them. Then you elevate your pot 1” You then put a soap mix in like safers. The gnats land there because they have no other choice. Works really well. You can spray the soap mix everyday as they’ll all be down by the drain holes. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

I miss the days when BTI wasn't as regulated as it is today. We used to have soil drenches in brown nasty liquid form. Always worked wonders back in the day. Mosquito dunks works but the liquid form was always way superior.

@Wattzzup hey man, I wonder do you always use 1/2 cup of bone meal when you are transitioning to flower? I just switched to 12/12 as well, yesterday and I added only like 1/2 tablespoon and also 1/2 tbsp of another 3-9-2 fertilizer I have plus a cup of ewc, xD, to my 4 gal pot and the same thing to my 10 gallon pot( except I used 2 cups of ewc for this one), I was afraid of burning them or something, but maybe I added way to little to both pots. Anyway would you recommend me to add more?

1/2 Tbsp won’t do anything. And by the time you find out, it’s too late. I think they recommend 1 Tbsp per gallon of medium. A half cup of bone meal won’t hurt anything. It’s some N and a lot of P. Some is available right away and some of it is broken down and won’t be available for a month. It has Cal also. So that and Epsom salt is how I keep from using Cal-mag

Also don’t use 3-9-2 right when you switch. You have to wait a little bit for that. Closer to 3-4 weeks in. It’s going to need that N to stretch. Once it’s done you can cut it back.
