WC OG Kush & Bubba Kush GROW

Yea I have taken my pump in and out of my AG res probably 10 times today.

I have finally come to the conclusion that not all airstones are equal.

Using the same tubing, and a shitload of water in my kitchen sink I tested all of them with my 15 gal pump, and the best thing was using one 5" airstone... The other ones got almost no air, all from the same lengths of tubing, idk what the deal is, I even switched the tubes, no different, this airstone just destroyed all others, even the original 10" airstone (its about the same but the 5" one makes some bigger bubbles).

The main advantage to this one is that when I take the pump out I can just take the airstone out with it, it was always a bitch working around mine with my previous setup.

Ok bro you got the right idea.. but the 1 inch airstones put out the same amount of air as a lets say a 10 footer.. It all depends on the pump and how good your stones breath... I use 1 inch airstones 2 for 99 at walmart..

And I toss them every week...
They only stay good for a small amount of time... If you use a large one well it's going to fuck as much as a small one but which one is cheaper to throw away?

Yea I bought a 40 gallon pump for a 1 gallon res, I figured that was enough power for all of the stones to get a good mist going, but I got some lemons.

Is it a drip feed system? or what?

Alright so here is how I set my shit up... It would have been way too hard to take this bitch out to take pics so I just made a diagram.. I have the big 10" one suction cupped to the pump.

This setup was like $15 with tubing, t connectors and airstones, the airstones were $1.48 ea $2.48 for the 10"


I soaked them in hot tap water for about 45 mins. had them running while doing that too.

I was in a really productive/creative mood today so I decided to try a new setup with my lights..

I like that light setup alot... but how comfortable do you feel that those y-splitters arent going to fall off of the powerstrip and destroy your plants.... is there anything holding them in place????

Yea I was kind of concerned at first, but the plugs are polraized, so they have some grip.

Initally I had some fastening system but I took it off because I made it out of a shoelace, I got some cable ties yesterday and now its fastened nice and tight.

Yo man, I went to the store to buy toothpaste and found these 1.5 gallon tubs... couldn't resist them at $2.00/set

I was initially just going to do the final 3 free seeds that came with my order in this with my extra pump, but I was really impressed with the way it looked that I decided to just ditch my AG after I saw how much this 40 gallon pump put out in this tiny res. The AG takes up so much space, and its so much of a bitch to move around. Plus this tub is has an equal water level for each plant, unlike my ag.

I am going to try to figure out some simple way to get a drip feed system going.

lookin good man, so your planning on having one plant per tub? haha the AG is a bitch to move around, but i owe it all the AG. Its a great learning tool, but its still pretty good to grow with, alot of very sucesful grows.

every grow im always sketched about adding nutes early on, then it always turns out that i should have just add them, but its all good, i added nutes on friday after i updated, they look better, we will see by monday or tuesday when i update again

I was going to paint it, but all I had was duck tape.... I am still trying to find some kind of solution that doesn't require layers of tape, using materials that I already have.

I ended up using the skin from a 3 ring binder, seems to work well.

For sure man, everything I know is from my knowledge gained from my AG.

Its just not a very good solution for my setup, I have a pretty small opening because I have a 45 degree side-hood covering almost half my space.

I was initially thinking 2 plants per tub would be ideal, but I had 3 seeds, and 3 plants to load up, so I just went with 3, I think 3 plants will work out okay for the size of the plants I'm aiming for.

I'm not planning on getting these very big, plus I figured this even water level would be way better than the AG, only thing I'm missing is drip feed.

I am still using my AG right now with some free seeds, just going to 12/12 them from seed, they have 12-14 week flowering period so I'm not really expecting shit, just hoping for at least 1 female that I can do something with.

AG pro 200 res = 1 gallon
