Hello everyone,
Thought that I would show what I've been growing so far. Not so much a journal although I'm happy to keep this updated if people are actually interested, mainly i just wanted to show what I've done so far.
I run 8 plants in total, beggining by planting one every two weeks but now I just plant a new seed when I crop.
2 months veg, under 350w cfl, four plant in total and flower under 600w hps, four plants. It works out to around 2 oz a plant every 2-3 weeks so far.
Started growing in September last year but the perpetual has been only running since November (5 months)

Previous successful strains were: grape kush by Cali connection - tiny yeild of sticky, stinky potent weed but yeah, yeild was poor
IMG_20160404_193621.jpg

The ultimate by dutch passion - massive yeild, for me anyway, around 4oz of lemony light green buds, not particularly strong but great taste and nice sativa lift from my pheno

Girl scout cookies by Cali connection - potent, average yeild and very good looking bud. Had a very unusual smell, almost meaty....

Fresian dew by dutch passion - absolutely beautiful looking bud with an average yeild and a smell almost like raspberry jam! Not strong weed though DSC_0128.jpg
And two random bagseed that both came out great!DSC_0117.jpgDSC_0123.jpg IMG_20160401_132437.jpg
Obviously I'm only growing one seed of each strain so I'm only talking about what I've experienced, you have to grow a whole pack to find a keeper usualy so take my reviews with a pinch of salt ha!
Thanks for looking by!

I'm thinking of giving them a go. Do you have any problems watering? I've heard of people ending up with dry spots?

I did at first however now I use a knitting needle to stab the soil a few times every time I water and now it's no longer a problem! I find them a bit more difficult to flush em but it's not a big issue. They are super easy to fold away when not in use and make for easy LSTing as you can pierce them with saftey pins, hooks ect unless they aren't full to the top in which case it makes for difficult LSTing ha! Obviously they make overwaterirng alot less likely and the soil dries faster if you do. I love em however I have only ever done 2 grows with normal pots so I'm a tad biased ;)

I don't as much measure, I use biobizz nutes which turn the water a brown colour. So I stick em in the shower until the run of is clear then another 5 mins for good measure. So about 15 mins in the shower.

With a few good knitting needle stabs thrown in :D

@weatwardhole - Just for sport, mark one pot in your flower room and don't flush it, just lower the nutes in the final 1-2 weeks and give last 1-2 plain water only and see if you notice any difference.
Flushing is a stoner myth perpetuated on forums like this. You should notice your final yield will be better. That flushing shocks the plant at arguably its most critical stage, just when its piling on weight

OK roobarb, I didn't come here to be ignorant, this is a fantastic place for learning and so why not. The moonshine x ghost train haze, I shall follow your method. Shes 6 weeks in about 4-5 weeks from finishing so it's gunna be a couple months until it's dried and cured but I will let you know!

Looks great. Are you taking clones or are you just letting them die?
They all go in the bin, I'm relatively new to growing and so by being able to try a new strain every 2 weeks, after a year or so I should have a better idea of what weed is for me, then il probably do a pheno hunt, take a mum and run cuttings. Until then, I've still got loads to try :)

Ah bolox.

So my grape kush is a tranny. Not full blown post op drag queen but more of a in the closet curious tranny. Found a male flower on my curing buds. With two seeds in the bud. As far as I can tell it's the only one though.

Out of curiosity should the seeds be?
a) used like normal
b) used with caution
c) killed with fire
