he knows more than me..id go with it..but still are 75% of the hairs red??
Hairs are only part of it. hairs don't have to be all changed to harvest. You harvest when they are about half changed. The tric are you best way to tell. Standing straight up and ball on top turned alittle cloudy. Its time.

I find that a few Cfl's with some Y adapters thrown into the mix veg plant's just fine. Just make sure you get the 6500k for vegging. And yes if it is an enclosed area do some homework on venting techniques.

Hank.

Greendemon, i noticed you were talking about the trics the other day , in picture 1 you will see how they are standing up with a ball at the end , look closey at the leaves and the buds . In picture 2 you will see a better example on how cloudy they are almost white ! , based on what you had to say yesterday i think i should chop as soon as possinle , what do you think ?

thanks

Yah i have done that, it's actually good to cook with in some cases when it isnt all the way cured. Depends on the recipe. Lawn trimmings dont taste well in brownies.. but as a garnish in a pasta, the best.

Imagine a plate of fettucini alfredo with a garnish of 2 nugs. You cut them up with your knife and fork and spread the deliciousness all over the plate. Add some pepper and eat. Good stuff.

For like cooking cookies, cakes, brownies, I found that dryer weed works better. At least for me anyways... You really don't need a whole hell of a lot like in a tray of brownies either.. a small tray with 12 (ahem serving size people) norm brownies will be better with like an eighth or even a quarter ounce tops. I see people put in like a half ounce.. thats a waste to me anyways as I don't have the money nor the field of green in my backyard.
hah

Im such a crackhead!~ ahaha i go off about everything

Soil starts at 6-9-6 , but the time released nutes in it will boost those numbers, especially the nitrogen. I would _not_ by any means add anything else to the soil as far as nutes go. Other than that paired with the perlite you should be fine. After 3 or 4 months, get on some small doses of nutes and personally I use distilled water but to each his own. The water here I think is chlorinated to hell =p (Unless your doing a grow less than that many months, in which case a small boost of nitrogen may not hurt the plant just dont use the reccomended dosage, like do half of what the nute bottle says. Mine is like a few drops per litre, I cut that in half if the soil has nutes.) Just keep a close watch on the soil with ph testers.

ahhahh made in canada? that makes it good huh =p lol that made me chuckle. As far as the numbers go lets wait and see what the pros say, but I would discourage added nutes. Good luck, start snapping some pics!
