week 2 problems

so i got this bag seed from a friend and there goin but i cant figure out whats wrong with these two.

light: 400w mh 24/0
medium: miracle grow
water: once a day
im comming up into day 14 and just wanna figure this out soon. all help is greatly appreciated.

could be over watering combined with the slow release nutrients in MG soil? are you feeding her anything else, and how are you watering her? right out of the tap?

i water it with rain water and 1/2 ounce of botanicare pro grow veg nut. per gallon. im sure im doing something wrong here. is rain water throwing off the ph that much? or could it just be the soil?

you might want to take it easy on those nutrients they really don't need any food till the third or fourth week. and you shouldn't use rainwater man, there are probably all sorts of gross stuff in there. I know it sounds counter intuitive but using distilled water or something will probably help them out a lot.

I doubt that you need to water every day - try to back off on the water, and no nutes.

so your saying feed every other day or something like that? what is the point of veggin nutrients if you can only use them in the last week or so of vegging?

water em when the first 3 inches of the soil is dry. not moist but dry. itll also help keep away gnatts. which love wet dirt.
