I'm guessing the bottled water you've been using is high in PH. As a result, there could be an interference with the plant getting the appropriate nutrients.

How much nutrients are you putting in?

A Ph meter is a growers best friend. keep the Ph between 5.5 and 5.7
if PH is adjusted, the difference of the water should be minimal.

Def need to keep the ph adjusted, as you suggest. Also need to get the air and water temps DOWN into an acceptable range. Those high temps can slow growth to a crawl, and stresses the plant a great deal. Your leaves spotting/yellowin could be a cal/mag deficiency. Your ph, uncontrolled, can lock out vital nutes, too.
Did it begin on lower fan leaves, first?
