Weighing pots?

i weighed my pots not waterd , and then again when waterd, this way i figure I’d know when I’d need another watering. Would this work? Weighed about 5kgs not waterd then about 9kgs with a good watering, just transplanted as well. Figured I’d weigh them and when it’s around 5-6 kgs I’d give it another watering?

Sounds pretty logical to me! I always go off of sticking my finger down in the soil to the s
2nd knuckle and see if it's still moist!
