2 litres each every 2 days? What size pots were they in? I was running a sort of closed system in my 4x4, rh was around 80 temps in low 90s. No pm no mold. Ate heavily and grew huge. Supplimented co2 and I vented tent until dry, a few hours at lights off. Live in very high rh area.
10 litre plant pots

Well that's a good point to be fair, I heard that anything over 90F kills powdery mildew so I guess the flame on my lighter will do the trick! :bigjoint:
Fire won't help much. Some molds can survive high amounts of heat. But even if you killed the mold, you won't reduce the toxins they release.
Google 'Aflatoxin' and 'Mycotoxin'

If you smoke from a joint/blunt/bong/pipe etc. only the tip is burning. Everything else behind or under the tip is getting inhaled without burning. So again, fire won't help.

Honestly, I hope every new person who joins RIU sees this thread, mold is a pretty huge problem, both in the industry and homegrowing. You might not even know you've been smoking moldy bud if it's at a low level. Most of the time it's harmless-every single one of us here has smoked moldy bud at some point, guaranteed, and we're all still here to talk about it. IPM and dehumidifiers are a must have.

You're right! Many people underestimate mold. I know from experience how dangerous it is, i've encountered mold many times and i have a lot of health issues from it.

I could write a book on my personal experience and health issues with moldy weed. I might share my experience later, although it's quite extensive and honestly embarrassing. But if it could help the people reading this, then maybe i'll do it. Or i might open another topic because it's too dark lol

I came here for the same thing... I even have a video !!!!
It's mold/powdery mildew my friend, the only way to beat it is by getting a dehumidifier and running it outside your grow tent from around 4 weeks in flowering until the end of flowering at 40 - 45% RH, I just purchased this 25 liter dehumidifier, it's the best thing I have ever done, hopefully I never have mold or powdery mildew issues again :) https://www.amazon.co.uk/MeacoDry-Arete®-One-25L-Dehumidifier/dp/B093TLCDVC

I've got puffs of smoke from dried stems and small leaves just right now. I forgot about them and just found a bucket(no lid) with small leaves that I trimmed around buds and a cardboard with stems. I usually trim them and keep them in cases when I am dry.

As soon as I put my hand inside the bucket it released a puff of smoke. They are absolutely dry probably even over dried and crashing into tiny pieces and everytime I squash them I get another puff. The same happens with stems. I am not even sure if it is from my last grow 6 month ago or from previous that I did 1.5 years ago. I have another container with fan leaves without any lid and another cardboard box with them from my grow 6 months ago and I do not see it happening with these two.

I have never had any mould on my buds.

BTW I am in a humid climate and we have had raining for weeks almost non stop. Every house is affected and green mould can be found on cloth, walls, ceiling and even leather furniture but it is a green fresh mould and you can wipe it off with alcohol or vinegar. This one from stems/leaves does look like a mushroom spore puff and it is white.

Funny, I left leaves in the open mesh container while I was writing my previous post. Now I cannot produce this smoke anymore no matter how I disturb leaves. Stems are also stopped puffing it when I squash many of them all together but if I squash one at its end it releases a small puff from inside a stem. But good thing when I am trying to smell my fingers after touching stems it smells like the best weed I have ever smelled.

Are you sure trichomes cannot overdry and start detaching themselves from leaves/stems in a form of similar to spore release.

Did nobody tell him to bud wash? That would have killed any mold or mildew and would have left a film ontop of water if there was any mold or mildew. Theres alot of posts didn't read them all hopefully someone responded with that.
