Weird shiny stuff on leaves and curling

Hi all, I have this wired plasticky shiny look to the surface of some of my leaves - would anyone know that’s going on?

Have you checked media/rootzone?
Broad mites can make leaves look like that...

Looks like possible nitrogen toxicity.

Hard to tell with those pics. Can you take the pics with the grow lights off and tell us about your grow.

Medium, lights, nutrients and such.

Forum will need all pertinent grow info to help...also pics in regular light helps.

Yes of course, sorry guys. They’re in coco with canna coco nutrients - A&B, nothing else. The lighting and extraction is fine, but I think my feed was a bit high. I have a background ec of 0.4 and I watered at 1.8ec. I’ve now flushed 2 times pot volume at ec 1.0 to get rid of any toxicity and to reset. Temps are 26, but my dehumidifier’s a bit erratic in that it’s hysteresis/bandwidth is too large. I’m wondering if this could be a contribute as well. Here’s some pics under proper light:

Hmmm.. I'd say too much N was a factor, and maybe a ph issue going on as well? Also, what is your rh at approximately? The up-turned edges look like low RH perhaps?

I was wondering about the RH - I think it’s been inrange butmy dehumidifier’s a bit erratic. I’ll put it on an external fine control setup to stabilise day and night at 60

Nitrogen tox can cause the upturned edges as well. Its overloaded.

Just to clarify - assuming it’s a nitrogen toxicity, did I flush with a low enough ec? I flushed at ec1.0. I could have used plain water but I’m in coco so didn’t want to leave them with nothing in the root zone.

I think you fried them a bit, so go really light for a week or two (maybe .8 if your tap water is already 0.4). Just light feeds for the next week or so, then ramp back up to 1.2ish once she starts to recover a bit. Cut off any dead leaf material, so it's easier to track progress and to avoid bugs/mold issues.

My plants done this the first week of veg when it used big buds for nitrogen. Your adding more water than the Plants need to intake nitrogen. Kind of like diluting the nutritional values. It is what causes the nitrogen to dry certain fan leaves. Try watering them every five days with a half gallon of water in each bucket and let the dirt dry completely before u water again. Also spray the leaves with room temperature water from a spray bottle Every day to make the other fan leaves take in that water like an artificial rain. Sounds crazy but when u foliage they will bloom out and fix themselves. Good luck farmer. Here’s how mine have turned out.
