hey guys, ive got a bubbleponics system, have had it going about 10 days, and i was checking today and noticed that the water seemed just a tad bit cloudy... i wasnt thinking anything of it, attributing it to nutes, but then i noticed theres this white stuff growing on some of the net pots, and noticed its growing on some of the grow rocks too... take a look at pic. whacha'll think? do i need to clean it up ASAP?? :-?:-?

overload of nutes? i added 1/4 strength nutes a few days ago and things started looking better, so i added just a bit more yesterday to total about 1/3 strength nutes.. in other words 1/3 of what stealth hydro said to use... surely that wouldnt be overnuting would it?

ive never had nutes build up like that.... but ive never had mold build up either, so all i can say is... it's not normal, get it off

ok.. 2 votes for nutes, 2 for mold.... so heres a question - how "dissolved" should the nutes be before pouring it in the tank? i read to dissolve them in warm water, but i stirred them in warrm water for like 15 minutes and they didnt dissolve completely... but the only thing left looked like fine sugar, is that still too undissolvedd to pour in?

ok its the nutes. dissolve them completely. with vigorous stirring and maybe warmer water than you're using. theyll dissolve completely

u dont want anything left on the bottom undissovled , that means theyres too much chemical too emulsify with the fluid and u are over nuting

so if thats the case do i still need to be worried about the white fuzzy stuff? if its just nutes then it should be ok, right? assuming i disolve the nutes COMPLETELY next time...
