Weird yellow dots on plant leaves

I am having these weird yellowing dot areas on a lot of the leaves on my plant. i have been giving it half strength nutrients the last two waterings so i do no believe that it is nute burn. I am wondering if maybe i need to give it more nutrients or if I am over watering or something like that. If anyone has had this before let me know if you found anything to fix itDSC_0956.jpgDSC_0954.jpgDSC_0955.jpg

You can spray off the mites with plain water.
Works great! You can also use ladybugs!
Your nursery should have them for cheap.
$8-$10.

...neem is more of a preventative, it's a little late for that one...I would hit them with ™Azamax, here's a link for a visual of the product bottle --->>> http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0032JYKGG/ref=asc_df_B0032JYKGG1892683?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=asn&creative=395093&creativeASIN=B0032JYKGG

...spray the hell out of them while your lights are off every 3 days for a couple weeks....after your Azamax treatment, ladybugs work great! ...they're on an endless mission looking for mites....my ladybugs come frozen, I spray them down with a very light solution of mountain due water before I release them onto my plants, which makes their wings stick together and they'll stay on your plants and not fly into your lights.

...Good luck, those little bastards leave shit on buds, you don't want that....DECLARE WAR NOW!

I went to my local grow shop and they said that neem oil also works to kill them. It gets into their nervous system and convinced them to stop eating and reproducing. It also will work as a preventative. They also said that is can have positive effects for making the plant stronger so I am going to try that for right now. I do not think that the issue is too serious right now. I pulled off one and I was not able to find any others so hopefully with a few days of neem I will be able to take care of the problem

mites are like herpes they are forever. they hate cool temps, humidity, seaweed extracts, and constant vigilence. they love heat, dry, and lots of decay. they can lay dormant when times are tough for them and spread via clothes, soil, walls, etc. there are predator mites, lady bugs, and the like to help eradicate them, as well as a plethora of insecticides both organic and non organic. most just control them to a minimum. neem oil is ok but wont kill them, only slow their progress down to acceptable levels. ladybug killer is a new spray havent tried it yet, no need at this time. supposedly you can spray every day up to harvest.

you may not think its bad but each one you can see now will lay eggs every 3 days or so and so will each new one and before ya know if ya got an infestation. never had this happen to me thankfully but heard so many stories about it

What is all this crap about neem oil not being able to kill mites? I use it religiously to kill all mites and fungus gnats and it works great.

Right before your lights shut off:
Mix a spray bottle with 1 capful (1 teaspoon) neem oil, 1 teaspoon non-bleach AND non-antibacterial dish soap, few drops of red wine vinegar. Shake well and often while spraying. Spray everything, pots, stems, undersides of leaves soil, EVERYTHING.

Next day: Right before your lights shut off - Spray everything again but using only water

Following day: Right before your lights shut off - Repeat neem treatment above.

After that you will have no mites, or other unwanted bugs. Try it before you listen to these noobs that joined last month with over 500 useless posts quoting shit "they have heard". Trust me, you wont be disappointed.

Scrap, Thanks for the advice. I definitely have heard that neem does kill them as well as prevent so thanks for confirming that. I think a reason people dont get the best results is problems mixing and getting the neem to actually dissolve into the spray. I sprayed yesterday and today the plant is looking much healthier and I did not see a sign of more mites. Hopefully this is the end of the problem and I dont have to resort to using anything else. I want the problem gone before I start flowering cause then it could become a real mess

Using the dish soap makes the neem oil water soluble thus making it effective in the treatment. Play around with the mixture dosage, The strength above is for heavily infested areas. You can use 1/4teaspoon for light to moderate infestation or less as a preventative.

neem does kill mites...and is a good preventative measure...however all mites are different and i can see where probs arise from what works and what doesnt....some mites are supermites and are resistant to many products...iv had mites where neem oil did nothing yet mighty wash got rid of them and vice a versa...

constantly assume mites, and spray with dawn soap daily, with neem treatments interspersed. they will not get a toe-hold for any population explosion. i'm lazy, and don't, but have had some mites.
