Hey everyone,

I just got the results back from a water test on my well water. I'm hoping someone much more knowledgeable than me can take a look and point out anything of interest or concern.

For the last few years, I've been creating my own RO and using an 80/20 mix of RO to well water. Moving forward, I would like to reduce my dependency on RO, if possible.
I've always been a little reluctant to use 100% well water due to the relatively high amount of TDS. Now that I know exactly what is in the water, I'm hoping I can come up with a plan. Maybe some filtration of some kind? I don't know which is why I'm asking.

Those two jumped out at me as well but were flagged as blue so I did not immediately panic. Me and my family drink mostly RO water from an under the sink unit. We use ice cubes from the fridge which is straight well water. I do make my coffee from the well water - perhaps I will use RO instead. Obviously the health of me and my family comes first, but for the sake of this topic, I'm more interested in the water quality in regard to watering my plants.

I think you would be fine to use it on your plants, whether it performs worse or on par with the RO I am not sure. Might be something @Renfro can help out with.

What is the reason you want to stray away from RO? Cost of wastewater & replacing membranes? Or just ease of use?

Mainly the hassle for my new setup.

I am on well, we have a 5 micron filter and water softener which have removed all the bad stuff and keeps me at 6.9-7.0

Call your local culligan guy.

You won't need to add very much calcium but will need more magnesium. Epsom salt instead of calmag is the solution.
