Wet v Dry Trimming

Ok guys I’m at the end of my first grow, now to decide to trim wet or dry??? What do ya’ll suggest for the newbie??

Up to u man. I do a little of both. Fan leaves then smalls later

Please excuse my ignorance--What is wet trimming and why is it done?..I guess that we are just too far out of town...LOL

I did both this year and preferred wet trimming, way easier, way faster if you have a lot of buds to do. I had to do 2 pounds this year.

Both suck. I wet trim for the most part, but with weather dictating more and more, I am trying to harvest quickly, so I just get the big leaves as I chop branches, and I will get more detailed as they dry. I do try to get as much as I can wet when I chop, and over the next week I will try to catch up as the harvest dries.

Trimming sucks ass!

I prefer a wet trim-spend the time to do a manicure before hanging the cola. The reason I prefer wet is that when I have had to hang untrimmed colas and then attempt to manicure them, the trim tends to stick to the bud and makes it a hassle to clean.

90% of the time I wet trim, I have a couple of strains with really dense bud structure that if you don't wet trim and cut the buds off the stems on the cola's I end up with rot.
