whas a clf!

whas a clf i been looking around and i seen it looks like a energy saving lightbulb! lol but its a compact florencent but is it really a energy saving lightbulb?

reason i ask is i have a 'friend' who's growing in a gallon pot soil mix with water on a 18/6 cycle atm untill said 'friend' has enough bucks for his 150watt HPS ballast for his 150watt HPS bulb this is only going to be for another 2-3 weeks maybe and it seems to be growing strong like over night it shows development, i have no fan in there at the mo so the stork is abit slim at the mo, the leaves are quite big about a inch apart and its about a foot tall i dont have a clue what kinda weed it is though lol

any inputs?

its only for 2 weeks more or so till i have a ballast

i just wana no if the energy saving bulb im using is good or bad? or will it not matter for the time as its growing fine

a clf might be a compact lorifcent
a cfl is a compact florencent

well do research and u wont get an asshole response

I know what a CFL is though.

i think i opened a can of worms ere but i am just worried for my girl as her twin was cruley ripped from her greenhouse rooting earlier by the 5 0 and 2 of her sisters her eating by my cat during a room clean out earlier!

listen dude , Google it, if that don't work check out the grow FAQ if that doesn't have it, then check some thread by doing a search. If that fails on something like lighting than your not ready for growing.

ya im sorted now i tried googling it but as u can see my spelling was wrong so thas why i just made a thread (also spelt wrong)

i think it stands for a COLD LIGHT FLOWERER or something, i have seen them sold exclusively in hydroponic stores ohh ya and they are very rare. Good luck finding one.
