what about this setup?

got 4 plants now ranging from 3 in to 7 in. got a 150hps and 2 30watt cfl's along w/ another 100watt cfl. lights are all relatively close to the plants with the exception of the 150hps which is about 18in away from the tallest plant.
growbox is a white 3x3 with an ability to go 8ft to the ceiling.
i got one fan about 1/2ft away from the plants which is constantly on low power.
should i have any problems? (heating...etc) what can i improve on this setup and does anyone think it works?

i realize that as the plants get taller i need to raise the lights...

Sounds good to me and yea you will probably run into some heat issues. Keep that shit well ventilated.

4 plants you say? are they skunk?i.e stinky
because your set up sounds o k. 150hps some cfls:
that will grow plants, and bud them. not as good as 400/600/1000 hps would do but
I used a similar set up.but that was a while back. the fan is a good idea keep that air moving.
you might want to consider a can fan and carbon filter, but if smell is not an issue
fuck it.

they are beginning to smell a little bit. does that mean there can be a female in there?? also what is a can fan?

I've wondered the same thing regarding the smell. Go look at my grow journal, we talked about it there. You can find some info on that somewheres else on here.

The smell usually doesn't get bad till they start to flower.
