I have diatomaceous earth, so far after I got rid of that one haven’t seen anything else, will this be a recurring problem?
What am I dealing with here?

You bet! They eat all those other little nasty bugs and they have no interest in your plant whatsoever.

Poor little guy just got dusted up. You can tell by the body language, he's just like... dude... really. It's everywhere. I'm going to have to go home and change now, not cool. Hope you got heaps of likes for your channel. Thought we were cool.

i will purpoely put daddy long legs spiders i find in my house in the summer onto my outdoor plants. the spiders will stay on the plants and during rain big plants especially they will go to the underside of leaves and wait it out. had them stay for months until harvest and they eat everything theres always food for the spiders onthe weed as nature the suckers will show up while the spiders are there for a free meal also protecting ur weed. praying mantis are even better for this but a little harder to find in my area i may get stoned and go in the woods on a bug hunt lol. ladybugs often fly away i think they have a shorter lifespan idk about them being worth catching outside. but mantis and spiders help.. good luck man

I see mantis here in Minnesota on rare occasions as well. I'm not sure if there really isn't very many or if they are just so camouflage and really don't come out of the trees much? They are always the same all green ones I encounter maybe twice a year. Cool creatures though! Between working outside, and gardening, and hunting and fishing, I'm probably outside a lot more than most people.

heey minnesooodddaaaaa lol jk haha. been to montana never minnesota beautiful place. i hunt and fish as well i live in the midwest. ya i see the same green ones here. i noticed they were thick in missouri at my grandmas farm as a kid everywhere. dont have trout here where i live but caught some rainbow trout before at a hatchery creek. was damn fun but nothing like where i live lol. water is sooo murky here cant see my feet when i wade in the water to bass fish haha. i wanna get stoned and catch some pike or muskie one day

One morning, I saw that a jumping spider (my favorite kind) had gotten himself stuck on one of my sticky traps for gnats. He was just on the edge and he looked pretty tired out from trying to get himself out of there. I took a Q-tip and a toothpick and carefully nudged him off of the trap and onto the Q-tip. I swear to God, he looked at me and somehow said thanks. I put him onto a leaf and the next time I checked, he was gone.
The question you have to ask (if inside) is "what is it's food source?" If it's in your grow room something attracted him there. If his food is beneficial to your plant remove the spider, if his food is detrimental to your plant, take more aggressive measures to remove it and the spider will leave in search of new prey. If outside he is your friend you will never remove all risk of bad bugs and he will help keep their numbers lower

ive noticed they only stick onto big plants outside really. indoors if youre grow area was clean he checked for ya and left in search for food. maybe its just the daddy long legs idk they love to make webs in my outdoor plants especially like 4ft and up plants
