what am i missing ?

Hi guys,
Im going to start off by saying im a new grower.
i moved into an apartment with free cupboard space and decided to give a test runner grow station. This was 6 months ago. (I cannot drill or make holes in cupboard) so to keep ventilation i keep the cupboard semi open with a fan facing it during the day and closed during light off time. I havent had the finances for propper lighting and dont want to kill the plants with too much heat, so iv used ordenary house lights 100w hallogen. Up to now theyre just past 1 month of budding stage. During budding stage i have switched to 2, 11w white warm tube bulbs. But this has taken much longer than expected to grow. Im sitting on 5 months now and id like to buy the propper 200-300w halogen jobies but im scared theyl either overheat the new plants or due to being more light forcing the budding plants to stop budding and back to growing. Im not sure about size of my 2 cupboards and id love to show my setup so everyones got a clear understanding what iv built up here and advise me what to do. But im not sure if its legal and dont want to get in trouble for pictures of plants. If anyone could give advice that would be great !
 
You need more light on them. Maybe some warm spectrum cfl's if you just want a small yield.

Keep them on 12/12 and you don't have to worry about them going back to veg.
 
thanks, yes i have 2 of them on my budding ones set at 12/12. But the other cupboard with the vegies has 1 100w light. their growing nice but slow. Can i post pics without getting in trouble ? So i can get suggestions how to better this operation ?
 
Haha ok here we go. The big cupboard is the budding ones the small is the growing. big cupboard (lighting= 2× 12w cfl's) and small cupboard (1× 100w clear hallogen. i keep small on 18/6 and big 12/12. Open to suggestions ?

ok you need more and the correct lights next time this yield is going to be very minimal. bigger lights closer will control that stretch which is quite undesirable.
 
What type and wattage would you suggest? And how far from them ?
heres pics of the crop one has so far..

Yeah halogen lights are terrible. Your plant looks bad. Not enough light it doesn't even look like it's going to yield any bud.

Go read a book on growing. Cfls should be all over your plant and within 3 inches or so of the plant not just over the top of it either. I would scrap this grow.
 
i'm in an apartment and i use a dedicated 1/2 bath for flower and my master closet (with clothing inside) for veg under T-5.

do you live alone? what is your apartment layout like?

Their all budding check the previouse pics. One is inch already. and im not using halogen on the budding ones. Thanks for the advice though.. changing the halogen on the small ones...

When u dry that bud it's going to be a tiny spec. There is really nothing there my friend. Those pistols are not buds and there should be thousands of them not just a few.
 
add lights all around the plant. hang some on the sides of it too. your plant is so stretchs its going to be really hard to get anything done. you should keep your plants really short and use cfls around them. also the side of the CFL gives off more light than the bottom of it so turn your lightbulbs sideways iff possible or hang them down beside the plant.

Thanks big help ! I also found out my plants have nitro deficiency, the bottom leaves die as they grow. Ill need to sort it out

First of all, DON"T USE any halogen Lamps. They are HIGHLY inefficient, and just NOT a grow-lamp, under any circumstances. Get a HID (MH- HPS) Lamp, or AT LEAST 100w/sq.ft CFL lighting. Proper Lighting /Spectrum/Intensity is ABSOLUTELY THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR FOR AN INDOOR GROWER!! ~ Read any of the growing books out there and you will be off to a good start.
