Fair enough...
I'm looking for things like LST (still not 100% sure about what it is).
Or other things like that.
LST is "low stress training" ... basically bending the stem slowly to the desired position. Since hemp stems are flexible and only of limited elasticity, they'll hold the new shape with repeated bending. It's sort of like a ScrOG without the screen. cn

What does it do?
Benefits.
The idea behind trainning a plant to grow wide instead of tall is widely used by indoor growers.

you can do whatever you want to accomplish that...

I usually just pinch the branch real hard and snap it over... Like this....

But I have seen lots done to accomplish the same thing.... Get the plant to grow wide instead of tall by:

snapping branches till the fall over.
tying the main stem/branches down
hanging weights with paper clips
screens of all shapes and sizes... Not only flat, but U-shaped and vertical as well...
cutting tops off
pinching the top to stunt its growth and allow others to catch up...
Putting a branch between the wall and the pot so it stays down...

see what I mean... You can do whatever you want to it...

Spreading the plant is the the mission, now get creative.

with all that said, different strains will react differently to different types of trainning.. Not everyone learns the same... So as you advance in your growing, you will be able to pick up on that and take it to the next level...

but remember... Our beloved is one hardy plant... If you are using common sense and have a bit of righteous guidance, you can't hardly kill one...

cheers and good luck! :joint::bigjoint:
