What are these drivers and what can they drive?

They;re from a Mars II 900 ( 400 draw), 7 in total in the fixture.

One has 2 outputs, one used for a pc fan , the other goes to the diodes panel. The other has a single output which goes to the diodes.

Whats the best "most efficient" cobs or premade strips I can run off these?

Could I run 2 cobs off each driver? .7a * 36v = roughly 25w. That would give me a 15 " square fixture with 14 cobs drawing around 350wats.

Would that be dumb?

vero 29C are 68-72V cobs it would be one per driver. if you want multiple 36V cobs you can run Vero D or citi 1212

Ah, thats what the "C" was. No that sounds perfect, eacy cob would be pulling about 50watts. 7 cobs run super soft in a 15" square fixture isn't something you'd design from scratch but it seems worth doing. It should excellent efficiency even if the drivers are probably poor?

What do you think? Is it worth doing?

If i was gonna spend $200 on HQ cobs id spend $100 on a HQ efficient driver as well and fugettabout it for 10 years

if youre on a budget, you can always upgrade drivers later
