ok so the past few days have been messing with me. i keep thinking, like what are we really doing here on earth? its like were born we live we die! whats the point to that... you would think if there was higher power(god, budda, sh via or what you b leave in) would have us doing better things with our lives. just so ppl know i see the points on both sides so i dont fully agree to eather side. i don't know lately at work(my job has slower down with the econ) and stoned i think about this.
what are your thoughts, no fighting just state you facts and why. i want this to be civle and i know how ppl can get no this site expcly noobs.
oh and say what your high on like home grown bag seed or purple haze

I feel the same way Agent Smith feels towards humans in the Matrix.

Ive thought about this for damm near 60 years & what ive come up with is this,were here to reproduce & to continue our genitic line,were also here to make a better way of life for those who come after us.

Pretty simple if ya think about it.

Don't think too hard about it or you'll just get further confused and worried. I think 100% of stoners and maybe 90% of the rest of the human population get introspective at some point and ask themselves The Question.

I reckon we are 'supposed' to be here to live our lives in (and I'm getting all hippy here) symbiosis with this planet and the animals on it. We are 'supposed' to, because we are arguably the most intelligent species on this rock, look after this planet. That doesn't mean we're supposed to eat grass and pat cows. We should use the fruits of this place sustainably and consciously. In other words, if you want to eat meat, then go and buy a beast from a farmer and kill it yourself, then butcher it. If you want to eat tomatoes, grow the buggers yourself. I know it's an extreme point of view, but we've become too insulated from what keeps us alive and need to get back to those basics.

I don't really believe we're supposed to make obscene amounts of money and replace every last square inch of the topsoil on this place with concrete and asphalt. But then, apparently the bible has the following:

500 verses relating to prayer

500 verses relating to faith

and 2000 relating to money and possessions

I feel the exact same way. Eventually, we will die off as a species due to our own short sighted ignorance.
