I hope I have the balls to do something outside this year lol I'm in a non legal state and worried about planes and shit.
i also live in a non-legal state.
Can anyone recommend me outdoor strains, that grow for around 10 weeks and most importantly that dont need daily care. I would be able to visit the plants perhaps twice per week

I am putting outside this year:

Cookies OG
GMO I95 stardawg
Wedding Cake
Gold Rush - Southern Star Seeds
Jabberwocky - 303 Seeds
Romulan

The Cookies OG, GMO I95 Stardawg, the Wedding Cake, and a couple other chucker strains I ran outside last year as an experiment.

The Gold Rush by Southern Star Seeds I am figuring that I am going to have to build a plastic greenhouse around them and put a heater in it to finish - around a 15 week flower - and where I am at it would never finish, but I have Really been wanting to experiment with it and see if I can get it/them to finish.

The Jabberwocky I was gifted a 5 pack from a guy who got them two years ago and they all germinated, so I am doing a seed run and taking cuts from the girls while they are still vegging to train for outside - I am Really looking forward to pheno hunting after the seed run to get a killer lucky charms leaning pheno to run.

The Romulan I got off of Strainly from a guy - another seed run veg cuts and train for outside.

Last year was the experiment to check out the outdoor growing here - this year - it is on - in different locations.

It will be a busy year with work, but I am looking forward to it.

I won't be growing outdoor, but I am starting a couple of Dutch Passion Seed Company's Desfran for somebody. I'm giving them a head start, popped them little over a week ago with a few other strains I am keeping indoors. Legal here, a lot of people just grow in their backyard even though it is actually only legal to grow indoors unless you have a special license. I know one guy who grows in his backyard in plain view of the street lol

It depends on how much rain you get and when you get it in relation to longer nights in the fall. Here in NW Florida the rainy season is also the flower season. So tight heavy buds are a magnet for rot. The tall wispy strains are better, but they also take longer. I still plant a little of everything and hope for the best.

As far as tending them, any strain can be turned into Darwin Dope. If mine got checked on once a week, they wouldn't know what to do. If we get decent rain in the spring, I will go 2-3 weeks at a time between checking on them. But you have to be prepared for some losses with this type of growing. I always plant 2-3 times what I hope to harvest.

New Strain for Me in 2020 .....

Gotham Limited ( Trainwreck x 79 Xmas bud ) - “ Pine Tar Kush “

Grown in layered mix ( FFOF / EB Stone recipe 420 )
Water only grow - FFOF top dress for feed - kelp added to water for flower stage.
PH 6.7
Quantum grow rig

I was gifted some special crosses using 79 Xmas bud ( Hazeman cut ) from my buddy ( icemudgrows ).
He breeds , breeds and breeds. He has an inside track to hazeman for access to many strains outside of public offers.
So he gave me a righteous seed drop to try out. From what he tells me this is a pinene heavy strain. And don’t think I have tried any smoke that sounds like that , so it makes me curious. Structure is very compact and stocky. , I did a light defol of leaves to aid in LST
training and both are working like champs . I don’t think I will top it , just wanted to see her as is. Been drinking every 3 days like clockwork. Both are close in growth.
