What bug is this

its so small you can hardly see it . I found some under my pots . Is it harmful? Any ideas

Aphid maybe?? It's so small it's really hard to tell without magnifying it. Get you some spinosad. (Captain Jack's Dr. Deadbug) is one of the brands but Safer has one too. I used it for thrips last year and haven't had a problem since. I spray my grow monthly anyway as a preventative. It kills sucking insects like aphids.and is not poisonous to you or your pets.

Looks like a mite to me.
Soil mites are great to have, they help in nutrient cycling!
