Genetics

Your plant is still early, and has weeks to go in which it may get frostier. But as a general rule some plants express more frost then others, and you have to look for the stand out plants. Not every pack of seeds has a keeper in it, sometimes you have to grow multiple packs before you find something special.

UV will help. What lights are you running?

You're only on week 5, they will start packing on weight in a few more weeks. UV is a great idea though, one of the few things that most people agree works. If I were an led grower, I'd use UV bulbs for sure.

some seeds just end up sucking donkey dick when it comes to frost. 1 of my current plants has almost no frost. While the others are looking great. image-20201016_172651.jpg20201014_220533.jpg

It makes me mad how I can plant a pack of heirloom tomato seeds and they are all nearly identical, but a pack of marjiuana seeds will have multiple wildly different phenotypes. But then again, that feeling when you've finally found a special mommy for your all time favorite strain is priceless.

Keeping the plants healthy from start to finish. It doesn't require all those bottles of additives. In fact too much stuff can impede development and stunt flower growth. I see burnt tips and some clawing.
Amen. i swear these companies selling nutes have lost their minds!! and padded their wallets. sadly, ive learned that, at my local hydro shop, i have to avoid certain employees b/c they are more about selling more shit than actually helping people produce killer bud as painlessly as possible. they’re just plants.

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. Genetics, lineage are keys to frost. Im assuming you have a good light and the plants are overall healthy.

I know people are gonna hate because I use advanced nutrients but this is my fifth grow using the advanced nutrients makes it much easier for someone like me that just starting to grow and I understand there’s plenty options out there cheaper but my knowledge is limited and advance nutrients make it more easier to grow the plants my garden it’s looking like never before I did grow organic before but using advanced nutrients I see a big improvement in my plants health and Grow i’m not here to dispute if they are good products or not

Nothing wrong with AN. A nitrogen ion is a nitrogen ion. No matter what name is on the bottle lol

That's because 99.9% of cannabis seeds are hybrids. Most have not been bred out properly to stabilize them. There is a misconception among some that many of these "breeders" are actually working with thousands of plants and working with the strains for years. That may have been the case years ago the way the European breeders worked lines. Now with the seed market so lucrative and people paying $20+ a seed every pollen chucker is now called a breeder despite the fact that what they're actually doing is making crosses and selling the F1's as fast as they can for as much as they can. If the time was taken to breed properly you wouldn't have 6 different pheno's from a pack of 10 seeds.

The term "Breeder" gets tossed around recklessly these days. There are plenty of growers on this site making crosses as good or better than all the hyped strains out there being sold for $100 a pack of 5 seeds.

That's a good point. However every person i buy from list if its an F1 or V1 etc. What is a v1 or v2 anyway?
