What do they teach in British schools?

History is all the middle ages, the Tudors an ancient history like the rest of the world. English Lit is both classical poetry/prose and modern, but the books don't have to be English. I did the Glass Menagerie, Of Mice and Men, A View From the Bridge etc...
 
My wife has a friend in england who said when they learned about the american revolution. england was like whatever let them have the colonies. Where here we make it seem like an epic triumph of good over evil.

Really not very different from what I here. All my cousins live in Florida, when they come over here, they don't seem to make a note of any difference.

i love world history too. im a beast at history. i took the us history sat for fun, didnt study, got a 720.

Yep. I've played that piano in concerts and in felt weird knowing that random Disney channel people were all up on it.

Speaking of American History, American History X is a great movie :3 And I hate preachy 'racism is bad' movies.

The only thing about British schools is the lack of enthusiasm and funding put into extracurricular stuff, serious sports teams, functions etc. My school was unusual for having a competetive cheerleading/gymnastics squad, entering students into maths Olympiads, and a student body. I was a Rep 3 years running, fuck yeah.

I think it's cool how believable he is as both the decent de-nazified almost nerdy family guy but still believable as the scowling skinhead with all his attitude and tats.

haha this is all wishful thinking and posturing... i can fake confidence when performing, or when im up in front of a group, or in class... but with guys, nope
