Eww..metal...I smoked out of a metal pipe for the first time in along time the other week..horrible! Go buy a glass pipe, you'll never look back, I know around here you can get OK glass pipes for $10, I keep a few around. But as far as my glass, as weekly "maintanance", i just run it under hot water and then wipe it out with a paper towel and a q tip. I soak it in Everclear once a month for a full cleaning, I won't use petroleum based cleaners, if it's not food safe it doesn't go into anything i'm going to be eating/drinking/smoking out of. Hot water and a paper towel/q tip always get's mine 90% clean

That can be worth money if it has a proper provenance. What are we talking? Statuettes? Written tablets? Cylindrical seals?
