The thing I love about this site hands down is the wit on here! There are lots of people here with seriously sharp wit. I have lots of fave peeps, (and you know who you are! ) People flipping shit to each other is the funniest. I've always loved a more male sense of humor. Since this site is mostly guys, it's honest, to the point, and hilarious.
I've long wished RIU could have a cocktail party. Imagine all of us in a room? Whenever I have to attend some horrible, WASPY event and I'm stuck having to talk to pinheads and the driest people on the earth, I always stand there with my drink and wonder why there couldn't be ONE funny person in the room. Then I remember they are all on RIU.
I read the Politics section a lot but rarely comment. I just like to see what folks are thinking about.

None of us are normal. We're brilliant. I got some shit thrown at me when I was new. I think that sort of hazing is necessary to weed out those who take themselves way too seriously.
