What do you think of GG4? Opinions about Gorilla Glue wanted.

Have been growing GG4 (MSNL) outdoors for I think 3 years now. I like it, and comparing it to other strains I'm growing this year, I'm starting to believe it's pretty resistant to fungal disease too. Growing aside, I like the effect. It's my go to strain.

Am I missing something? Should I try something else for growing and maybe breeding?

variety is the spice of life. Its good to have a couple reliable cuts in your stable that you can count on performing, especially outdoor, but its nice to have different flavors.

I agree. I'll be trying other things and likely be crossing some of them with some selections from OGS. Including GG.

Record book strain. Absolute stunner.

A buddy of mine used to prefer to grow it, and it was a pain to help trim, it was a stick gooey mess. Failed trimmers every 10 minutes, but, lots of scissor hash.

I'd love to grow it, but i mean who even has real legit GG#4 anymore? Closest i have is a couple different GG4 crosses, but even those I'm kinda excited for.

I say keep. For as long as you can, or are willing to.

Love GG4. Great flavor and excellent buzz.. Not in a friendly state, so I don't have access to cuts. Just picked up some "Original Glue" seeds, hopefully I can find something close to the real thing.
I've grown quite a few Dracarys (GG4 x Pre 98 Bubba Kush) from Katsu, and I absolutely love it. Just popped 2 yesterday. I'm not sure which I like more, they're both fire. I've heard people say gg4 makes great crosses, might be worth a try :blsmoke:

A friend gave me some Pre 98 Bubba so I'll likely be crossing that with some Iranian also. I really want some earlier flowers. Can only grow so many at once. Good luck with your grow.

No idea if it's legit but I really like the gg4 I've been growing. If it finished earlier I'd like it even more.

Just grew a Sorbet #4 by DNA which is a GG4 cross. It’s quite delicious. Had the GG4 stank paired with a berry note.
Fresh off the press with some flower rosin :)

Grew a Couple Sherbert Gorilla this year but it didn't keep up with the GG4, although it did well. Seems less resistant to the septoria though. That wax sure looks good!

Ooh sherbet gorilla? Like a sunset sherbet cross with GG4? That sounds like it could be terpy as hell too.
Have you smoked her yet ?

Thanks for the love, I’m high AF this morning off a huge dab :D

I have been told that the terpene profile of gg4 is naturally bug/mold resistant.
It does work well outside but doesn’t store long term very good.
If your growing from seed. It’s not GG4. GG4 is a cut/clone ONLY. I wish more people understood this. GG4 is glue but all glue is not GG4F178AFC4-8F11-4599-ABA5-5AA536789CB0.jpeg

I'm a big fan of OGS! Grew Maxwell's Silver Hammer last year and got a great sativa dom plant that was done in mid Sept. Grew OGOG, Sugar Cookies and Oaxacan Iranian this year, but septoria issues made me pull a little early.
I had that shit too--HAVE it I should say.

I wouldn't know the difference. Was sold to me as GG4 seed and it's similar to any GG4 I've ever Had. What I have does well for me but we can call it glue if You'd like. Nice plant in the photo.
