Got pm spreading in my light dep. I've sprayed with Doctor Zymes twice didn't do much for the pm. How do you fight it? I would hate to pick every leaf with it

greencure,pm remover(made with garlic),shavegrass. i would honestly try the horsetail tea brother, it does more than just help with pm problems.whatever you use,you want to use a couple different products and alternate them each time you spray.worked for me.definitely get yourself a half gallon 'green thumb' or similar type sprayer.way faster than a bottle sprayer.GL

I have 8 ph water which I run through an ozon machine for 30 mins. Spray that shit on everywhere.

1 cup of milk, 1 teaspoon baking soda per 1 gallon of water. The protein from the milk will eat up the PM. Once you have PM your plant has it regardless. Best way to keep it down is air flow and low heat and humidity. Good luck.

In the Netherlands they are not allowed to use any antifungals. After the ban, losses went up to 40% until they did the needed research. Now it is 0%.
Calcium, easily dosed in the form of calcium nitrate, reacts with pectic acid to form pectin.
Cold temperatures and high humidity keep plants from transpiring much which in turn reduces the amount of water pulled up from the roots.
Calcium is moved passively with water, i.e. no water movement = no calcium, equal weak cell walls etc.
If it is cold you can probably not heat the root mass much in soil, but in hydro you control water temperature. To ensure calcium can be passed pH range permitting.
Calcium can also bind with phosphate (like your bones, and that is only weakly bio-available), or also sulphate to form gypsum. So, sometimes in soil, you need extra calcium.
Also if you use lights indoors that cause higher transpiration due to more blue light hitting lower leaves, opening the stomata, more calcium is required.

In the presence of amino acids (normally produced by soil organisms on the roots), calcium uptake can increase 1000 fold.
You can buy Raw Omina to dose amino acid. So, you want to dose the two together to the roots.

Now why all the talk about calcium?

When the powdery mildew spore lands on a nice moist piece of plant inside its goldilocks environmental range, it shoots down something similar to a root to burrow into the plant and take water as well as to push further into the plant and spread. If your plant has sufficient calcium when that little root thingy tries to dig into the plant, it strikes impenetrable pectin (I talked bout it at the start).

So to summarise. Cold temperatures, high humidity, or excess phosphate or sulphate can prevent enough calcium to be carried all the way to the tips where new growth takes place.
This is a perfect TIC TAC TOE for PM as the cell walls are weak and all the environmental factors are perfect.

By using the right amino acids (even in hydro) you can drastically improve calcium ion uptake and basically immunise your plants.

Also, a treatment of B-vitamins every 10 days will prime the plant to respond defensively to any damage. Apply this in advance of getting problems, like light burn, insect bites, FIM, etc..

Remember not to suddenly drop humidity if you find PM. This will trigger the spores exploding all over your grow.

ok guys I have used sm-90 for pm it works better than milk, or organic apple cider vinegar, or anything else that I've tried I am currently in week 5 of flower and starting to see it come back. I don't want to spray this late in flower but can I dip a cloth in the mixture and wipe it off of the leaves without doing to much damage? I have been battling this since I started. the clones I got had pm without my knowledge. this is my first go at this so I'm learning as I go. in a 4x4x7 tent with a 660 inline exhaust, fan two oscillating fans and a dehumidifier under a600 w led. temps fluctuate between 73 and 66 humidity is between 55% and 63%
