I think i had a little bit of algae in my reservoir from the superthrive i put in there. i cleaned and replaced my reservoir and flushed the plants with water a little but not much. Do you think that caused a problem?

hornedfrog2000 Well-Known Member Jan 17, 2013 #5 algae can be brown too. I know Algae needs light* to grow, so if that's the issue you must be having light getting in the tank.
