What does everyone do with their clones?

Barely use them, because i like growing new strains. Clones are either put in a 1 gallon pot with coco coir shoved in a spot where there's light it can reach, which all have died because they can't compete for light against established early-mid flowering plants (i have a perpetual grow setup), or used as entertainment purposes like growing by a window sill facing east.

There's a couple of things you could do, 1 is prop the clone/s up to canopy height and put a shade of some sort over them.

The bottom pic is a vegetable/mesh bag with a plastic bag over it to begin with.

Or you could air layer some clones from the plants, basically you're preparing and rooting the clone on the plant then cutting it off to start a new plant.

At first I was like, "what should i do with clones?"
Then I was like, "I'll use clones for practicing manifolds and use them for my first perpetual grow after my soil grow finishes, to practice a DWC grow in tupperware before i decide to invest in buckets and start from seed. I'll just use the other clones for something, but i don't know what."

My first hydroponic system perpetual grow veg zoning area using coco coir and dwc before i decided to invest in buckets.

my first dwc clone for my first perpetual grow. i grew 2 clones in one dwc. i got a decent yield.

i had no idea what to do with the rest, so i put them outside and by the window sill, and practiced first time coco coir and manifolding.

The DWC plants survived and flowered. The rest of the clones died outside, but i wasn't planning on growing them anyway. It was just for experiment and practice.

You must live in a nice neighborhood.

I put em in Pepsi cans, McDonald’s cups.. water bottles.. It keeps them out the way til I feel like placing them in a pot, selling them, gifting them or they just die. I have only kept clones til chop twice. 3CDD4E94-CEDD-476A-B668-585DD7957099.jpegFFB5E3E0-A548-421E-8B76-040C021AC74F.jpeg91126B50-7901-4A35-8FC8-9DAFF1D2BF1B.jpeg

The future perpetual grows are going to be different strains from seed and will use the manifold and scrog training technique. The clones will be going somewhere...

These are my current clones in coco coir. two different strains growing from seed and put into a dwc. I plan to manifold and put two of the dwc plants in my flowering tent, and the clones will go somewhere?

I keep moms and run strains I know will produce what I'm looking for then fill in the rest with untested seeds. Then if the untested seeds run good I'll keep that mom. If you run new everytime you dont really know what the plant will do, how it likes to grow etc. Right now I'm running an entire tent with strains I've already run, because I know I'll get what I want out of it, then next will be all untested cuts from sacred cut. I'll pick out what I like and cull the rest.
Lather rinse repeat.

I've lived in Flint, MI and if you put some plants in your window like that you'd be robbed within 72 hours. You must have a lot of trust for strangers is all.. I would try and stay more stealth. Loose lips sink ships.
If you wear shoes outside someone in Flint will rob you for them. Crumville usa
When I was young I did some telemarketing work for SBC if I got a call in Flint I'd just hang up immediately. They generally owed money and wouldnt pay it and would never upgrade anything because they don't have the money to. Next!

The chances are 1 in 30 that you will be a victim to robbery in Flint. I personally left that shithole and live in the country now in a nicer house built in 2000. If only my well water wasn't so shitty though... Not to mention Flint topped the murder record again last year.

Yeah I almost worked in Flint until 2 times I went for my interview I had a bum begging me for money following me around. Not happening.

This was the result of one of the plants for my first dwc for my first perpetual grow. i grew 2 clones of 2 different strains in the tupperware dwc.

first.jpg

dry weight of one of the plants. the other i forget what the result was. i do remember it was at least 2 mason jars.

I like to keep a couple of plants just for some experimental purposes, from using chemicals, topping/fimming/tying, defoliation etc etc can all be messed around with on a small plant or two.

Idk why but I'm reluctant to chuck anything if I've space for it, I've plenty of time to chuck it at a later date lol.

My Third and current perpetual grow after investing in buckets and fixing my previous mistakes (i got lazy with keeping the revivor full). My current flowering plant in early stages of flower initially grew awkward because i had to reveg from flower to veg because my block got a power outage during a storm and my sapling went from veg to flower stage. i tried my best manifolding revegged plants.

I took clones from these plants and will put them by the window sill because its winter and really cold outside. what will happen to the clones growing in coco coir by the window sill? idk. i'll probably put them by the window sill for experimental purposes. i just like growing plants.

The Flintown documentary on Netflix is pretty good. It taught me that policing a poor community is hard because they can't afford police.
