What "filler" can I use to dilute powdered trace fertilizers?

OK, I realize the sulfates will not each weigh the same per volume, if that is what you mean. I'm just trying to get an idea of ratios right now.
I will be more accurate once I dilute the powders in the sugar.

For example, I can mix 1 gram of Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate with 99 grams of sugar. In that 100 gram mix, there are 0.36 grams of Mn.
1 gram of the dilluted mix has 0.0036 grams of of Mn. So If I wanted to add 0.0036 grams Mn to 1 cubic foot of soil, I'd add 1 gram of mix. The mix would give a tiny amount of Mn plus 1 gram of sugar. I don't need an accurate scale. I just need sugar.

And as far as the Solomon recipe. He calls for 1/2 gram of elemental Boron per 100 sq ft of soil of garden.
If 100 sq ft is equal to 50 cubic ft, then the recipe calls for 0.01 grams of Boron per cubic foot.
Borax is about 10% B (11% IIRC, but going to use 10 to keep the math simple)

1 gram of Borax = 0.1 grams of Boron
0.1 grams or Borax = 0.01 grams Boron

Mix 1 gram of Borax into 9 grams of sugar.
Each 10 gram mix has 1 gram of Borax.
Each 10 gram mix has 0.1 gram Boron.
1 gram of mix has 0.01 gram of Boron.

Add 1 gram of diluted Borax mix to add 1/100th of a gram of Boron

I don't know what is in laxative. But now I feel like I have to research it. Heard vitamin A as well. I want to learn about carbs and sugars, amino acids and chelation, and all that poop. I dropped organic chemistry twice in college. I didn't need it to graduate, but wanted to learn it. College had lots of laxative, so I never finished my optional organic chemistry education.

I'm trying not to start researching organic chemistry right now. I know once I go down that rabbit hole, I'll be in deep.

I feel like I've learned so much. And the more I know, the more I realize I don't know sheeee

Use any scale with 3 points of decimal value... - 000.000
That will work fine here.
