what happens if i add food coloring to a plant?

I did this in school once for flowers and they changed to the color of the coloring. does anyone know if this would also happen to the flowers on a bud plant?

would make for pretty neat visuals huh!

Good visuals...and good smoke if you do it the right way. If you do it the wrong way then yea probably bad smoke.

Yea watch out this guy is gonna get mad because we figured out his secret to his colorful tasty marijuana...food coloring. Everytime theres a thread on food coloring this nigga jumps in there and just says its all wrong because it dont want everyone doing what hes doing.

And by the way I have lowered my temps before and got my weed to turn purple and almost black looking and I have done food coloring they seem the same to me.

food coloring is wrong, just like i know people who cure their weed in fruity pebbles boxes for the smell.:dunce:

Food colouring would work. I never tried to smoke it, It might leave a harsh smoke behind. Try it on one plant and compare. Just have some fun. It's all about having fun. I don't know why there are so many haters here trying to hate on you and your ideas. If they have some legitimate reason like they did it and it screwed up there plants or smoke then okay, but other than that, ignore them. Personally I would try it just to see what happens. I have 14 clones at the moment, maybe I'll add some to the water in one just to see what it does. It can't hurt. If it works then you impress everyone you know with your stash.

I cure my weed with all sorts. Mostly Citrus fruits, lemon, grapefruit, lime, orange, etc. It's always been great that way. The flavours pass over nicely, but if you screw up then moldy weed and kiss it good bye. I'm going to cure with Vanilla on the next round in a few jars just for fun. I don't care if people call me stupid and dumb. If I get a product that I'm happy with then great. My friends always love my crazy tasting weed and always want more. Lol, sometimes it's the samething they have just cured a little different, but they like mine more. Like I said it's just about having fun, so go enjoy yourself.

Oh and for those of you that are going to attack me, Yes I might only have 50 or so posts and I might not have been on this site a long time like a lot of you have, but I've been growing for a long time. Not everyone with a high post count is a genius and not everyone with a low post count is an idiot.

This thread is ridiculous. We all know that the ONLY way to truly color your weed is to urinate on the buds two days before harvest at exactly midnight on a full moon (while wearing women's underwear - preferably a thong). It's common knowledge, so at least do some research before you come around here asking stupid questions.

Some of your curing methods and flavors sound cool, yipp interesting.

Defcon9 if you do try to color your buds don't put food coloring in the water while you grow it.

When you harvest just take one stem of many, and make sure it has a good sized little bud. Cut the stem at an angle. And make sure you trim the bud before this.

Ok then just get a cup fill it with water and whatever color dye you want and put the stem with the trimmed bud into the water and let it sit for about 2 days.

After those 2 days just take it out and it should be colored and then continue with your normal drying and curing process you would normally do.
