What happens if you splice an autoflower and a photoperiod plant?

If you spliced a top from an auto onto the bottom / roots of a photo, would that top autoflower or would it be photosensitive?

If you spliced a top from a photo plant onto the bottom of an autoflower would that top autoflower with the rest of the plant or just not flower?

Anybody ever try this?

Never tried it but have grafted lots of Japanese Maples.
Question 1 the top would autoflower.
Question 2 the photo top would not auto flower,whatever branches from the auto stock would autoflower.
