What tempetures and humidity levels produce the best final product when drying? How about when your curing? I have a really nice harvest that i want to guarantee as the grade A

I try to dry mine at fifty percent humidity at about seventy six degrees with a good amount of air movement in the room during the process. I find with lower humidity levels the buds outside gets crispy while the inside is still too moist to jar in my opinion and if you are not real careful about opening your containers often the first week you could end up with bud mold from too much moisture still being in the bud. With a higher humidity level it allows the bud to dry more slowly before jarring,

im no expert but i'd imagine the longer you can prolong it drying (without causing mold) is going to be the best taste/burn/smell, etc.

i keep mine in a dark space with a fan blowing (not directly on the hanging buds) and a window open for air flow.

so far its worked great.

usually mine dry fairly quick...6 days to fully dry...thats 2 days hanging...two days in bags...two days in jars...then the rest of the time is just curing it further however the weight usually doesnt change after the 6th day since the cut.

i cure in jars for an additional 2-3 weeks usually...sometimes more..sometimes less.

i open my jars for 10-15 min at a time a few times per day.

no bud rot/mold to speak of.

my humidity (this time) has been around 35-40% and the temps have been rather cool (upper 50s to upper 60s usually).

this has slowed the drying process this time...slightly...its taken about 9 days instead of 6. over the summer i couldnt keep it from drying...it dried in about 4-5 days...

if your crop gets too dry you can add orange peels into the bag/jar its drying/curing in. id advise to put the peel in a zip lock sandwich bag (But dont seal the ziplock). this way you wont get pulp on ur buds. lol
