What is the minimum distance an intake on a grow cabinet/tent should be from the passive intake of the room it is in?

I have an 8x8 room with negative pressure and passive intake. I only used 4x8 of it to flower under 2 x 600watt lamps, and the other half was walk-in work space.

I had some heat issues, and don't really need to flower out an entire 4x8 space every few months for my needs, so I'm scaling back and hopefully creating a space to setup a semi-perpetual grow.

I want to build dividers/shelving into the 4x8x8 space to create the 3 grow areas. a veg/mother/seedling area 3x4x8 divided horiontalty, and a 5x4x8 area for flower.

For the 4x8 grow I had to run a dehumidifier, and tried it outside the room near the intake, and inside the room.

It made a difference to run it inside the room with oscillating fans circulating the warm dry air, so I plan to keep this., I was going to simply install fans in the cabinets to recirculate the air from the larger space into the cabinets and back out again.

My question is, for the spaces I plan to section off, how far should the intakes of those spaces be from the passive intake of the larger room to make sure that the fresh air being sucked into the room is at least mixed a little with the warm dehumidified air instead of just being directly sucked into the grow space.

I had a thought while typing, and am going to see if there is any research on how far the intake of a HRV system needs to be from it's exhaust, it seems like this might be an analog to what I am trying to figure out.

Is this even a question that can be answered?

Re: above, seems code is 10 feet, but that seems related to sewer vents and appliance exhaust, and is also likely over-stated for margin of error.

For my application, I am hoping they can be much closer and still have effective mixing of air.

Thanks!

Well, I think I have a concept of a plan that puts them as far apart as I am able to. So if there is a minimum I was shooting for hopefully I am over it, if not, I can't go any further anyway!
