All of the above. You never really know unless you know someone with first hand experience with the particular seeds. It is a lot easier to get an idea of what you will find when you know the lineage of the seeds. Genetics are the most important factor when it comes to the potential of the given seeds. It has been said that most seed making projects are unsuccessful in being better than the parents and produce desirable traits so take that for what it's worth. You can definately grow great weed from bagseed but the major drawbacks are not knowing anything about it, long flowering times, and hermaphrodites. Commercial weed can be fantastic, it's the way it's harvested and stored that makes it shitty a lot of the time. Plus it is an inexpensive way to learn before you buy expensive seeds. I would suggest growing much, much more than you intend to harvest and only choose the best plants and assume 1/2 will be male. Also you might want to try a couple different types of seed in case one of them completely sux 'cause then it will be a waste of your time.
