No idea but looks mechanical. Like damage from something hitting it. But doesn’t look damaging.
Thanks! I didn't think it was any sort of pest due to the large size but it certainly could have been struck by something, I was just messing with the lights and I always forget about those danm dangling cords!

Do you use reverse osmosis water for that plant in picture?
I do and usually top off with RO when the PPM starts to get too high on me but my tap water had a low enough PPM and once PH'd, it brought down the PPM as I needed. First time I've introduced tap water into my system but it was RO with Gen Hydro nutes added in. Had this on my last grow too and nothing bad came of it.. just on the search for knowledge!

So I had that on my plants when I used a new nutrients company and I wanted to see if I needed CalMag and when I saw that blocky splotches on my plants I added CalMag and never saw again with keeping 200 ppm from CalMag using reverse osmosis

That’s why I asked if you used RO water
I use CalMag to supplement but I don't think I have any deficiencies at this time but especially with the addition of the PH'd tap water. I'm actually thinking of continuing my top offs through the week like this. My PH has been more stable since doing it and maybe I'm biased, but I certainly feel like my plants are more robust since the tap water!!

As long as your aware your solid Alctrz8849. Your are very correct about stability in tap water but you also have many things in tap water people are unaware of.

Plastics, medication people flush down toilet, chlorine chloramine fluoride blah blah blah but mainly less ppm of nutes in flower. Zero ppm of that stuff with added CalMag and nutrients

Did you know the average person consumes enough plastic to produce a credit card every month?
