I just opened my canopy for the first time in a while and I saw this (bunch of white flakes). I dont know what they are, they seem to fall of very easily though.20210205_172828.jpg

They definitely arent all alive, though I do see a few flying around they are very small. I also found a few aphids. I picked off what I could find but is there anything else I can do. I'm currently in late flower.

I’ve only had them in veg and used an insecticidal garden soap. Probably not the best for flowering plants. Check around the board a bit I’m sure you’ll find something. Get some yellow sticky traps for sure

As to the flakes, do you have any filter material on an intake or something like that breaking down and being blown in? I can't get a good focused view of them zoomed in.

I'd say you have bugs If they don't move it'll be their exoskeleton,s, have you a loupe or scope to check them out?

I don't know if burning Sulphur in a hotbox or a smoke bomb is safe around flowering.
Maybe @Renfro can help on that one?

All up to what you are willing to smoke I suppose. Sulfur for example can make your flower smell a little like rotten egg farts when combusted. Not the greatest taste profile. Obviously it's best to deal with potential pests prior to flowering.

Still though, we don't know what those bugs I spotted are, could be beneficial bugs like hypoaspis miles bugs. The flakes are a mystery as I can't identify them with the images provided.

Ah ok thanks... I didn't think bud would take on the taste of Sulphur, hot boxes were maybe still are available in the hydro shops but it's not something I know anything about besides they burn Sulphur.

Idk what's in a smoke bomb but the ones I've used didn't have a eggy smell but the op would need to check if they are safe around the end of flowering... It's the worst possible time to have issues.
