What is your experience with grove bags?

Personally I think they're a game changer. I've been an advocate of jarring my harvests with a boveda for over 6yrs. This requires burping and constant RH checking, which when you have 15+ oz in an illegal country kinda stinks every time you burp and the paranoia of cold with inconsistent RH. These bags require no burping (as long as you put them to cure at the right time with the right moisture levels in the bud) and keep the RH between 58-62%. I've noticed NO terpene reduction in terms of taste and smell, in fact its only gotten better (which to me is a sign of good curing). I've got some in grove bags from 4-5 months ago so standing the test of time.

Peace

I just tried them with my last grow to see if they worked any better than turkey bags. It turns out Grove bags are legit! This is my best harvest ever in terms of terpenes, the flavor of these buds after 6 weeks in the bags is incredible. I sealed my buds in them with a flat iron at 55%-which is lower than I usually do in jars, but I've tested various RH % in jars and I believe less moisture is better for preserving the terps. Next time I'll do a bulk order to get a better deal on them. I like both the 1/4 lb and 1/2 lb bags. I won't go back to jars unless I have to for some reason.

Ive used them in two harvests so far just to make sure what i saw was legit and Im NEVER LEAVING! I absolutely love these bags! lol If you heat seal them right, you can reuse the bag for another harvest or two depending on your sealing skills. They are also considerably fair priced, Im Buying more of them soon! Glad im not the only one loving these things!

I'm curious about them as well.
Is there any advantage over mason jars?
Other than not being glass

no experience at all with them. do you think its better than vac seal or nseal or boveda with vac seal or freezing with vac seal for long term storage? what about the cost vs vac seal bags?

The bags are not expensive at all. Compared to Vac seal bags i cant comment on. But compared to Jar with boveda grove bags cures better and more efficient. Also its very convenient not having to burp or check the RH like a mad man. Just dry it properly, then bag it up and heatseal. The bag does the rest for you. Even my frozen trim keeps its terps in that bag.

All I can say is that I ended up with the freshest, most fragrant buds I've ever cured-all of my friends and family who tried it agree. I usually do a low/slow dry, then into jars w/mini hygro, burp if needed, etc-very standard-but I've never been completely satisfied with my results. Whatever these bags are doing was the missing link in my process, they just do a wonderful job preserving your terps after a proper dry. And they are reusable, as the other guy said-just be careful when you heat seal it to leave yourself room for more heat seals in the future. Also, once you open the seal and just use the ziploc, the buds stay just as fresh-I just suck out the air, ziploc it, then roll the top down to where the buds are and tape that in place-stays perfect.

Got some and were full of static. Only been a week or so too early to tell. But I have a grove bag vs Kilner jar test going on with the same strain
So after a months in a jar and a grove bag there is a difference but it’s pretty subtle. One for sure is that the grove bags stack nicely and are better for storing your smoke.

20 Kilner jars weigh a few pounds lol
