Youre going to get a lot of responses with lots of angles and viewpoints, so it's going to come down to you to decide of course.
So anyways, efficiently compared to what? It comes down to how big do you want your plants?
You can control this with environment and pot size and other factors as well. The more area you give your plants
the bigger size potential. As before mentioned, larger pots will allow for bigger plants. You can research this for finer details.
But the trick is to find the balance of all the factors and come up with what works best for you and your space.
I suggest finding a space first then go from there. Might be easier for you, but I can understand a few reasons on why you would chose this path of logic.
You're set on soil so this will limit the styles or methods of growing. So Research the different ways you can grow your plants with soil. Different styles are better suited for larger yields while others lend themselves better for smaller grows. Lights are big time in the equation too. A general guideline rule I have learned on here is that 50 watts of HID lighting per sq. ft. is recommended. So knowing this kind of stuff too will limit what can be done to the plants based on the space.
So lots of learning to do. Hopefully this gets your brain flowing, and gets you to some more details so you can come back and get more detailed in your questions. Check out this soil grow

Well I was thinking of criti,al mass as a strain so however big they get in 4 weeks. I have basi,ly 4 months to get as much as herb as possible frow twenty four plants I relize that this is a big opperationfor my first groww but I got the money and connections and not to mention the passion. I plan on getting my cargivers licence in like a week or sand being totally legit in az but I have four months before I have to sell to dispensaeys and the state has control of were the Bud goes so I want to veg for 3.5 to 4 weeks then flower that will take a estimate of about 2 - 2.5 months I think I give a few weeks to harvest dry and cure. And then sell it and get more money . How much Bud do u think I will get if given the rite space nutetrients lights ventilation etc. Etc. Does anyone have any experiance with critical mass is it all its cracked up to be

weel to answer the cooney on first find a spot. well we are buying a property then building a one room and office kind of thing with plumbing in it. and a bathroom. so I need to figure out how big a room we should make then make smaller sepperate rooms in side of that. also I think im going with 600s but not to sure. cause u could out them closer to the canopy and are more efficient. I am going with the topping technique that I have read about.i plan on cargiving for 5 people in the future so meens 24 plants each and a total of 60 plants so any advice u can give me from knowing all this would be very much appreciated

yeah 600's are a better option imo. 24 plants per light that's a SOG method, you need mother plants and clones, it's not a simple method but the most efficient, start with growing fewer bigger plants until you get mother plants big and ready to clone then do the SOG IMO
