What light recipe is the best plant LED grow light spectrum?

More trichs with HPS has not been my experience at all.
I have only seen a couple other people say this. It dont seem to be the "norm" but i have no idea what the "norm" is anymore.
The grow went great , flowers were bigger with led but the trichs just aint as covered as normal with same strain ect... This is only my first all led grow so my tests dont mean shit really.

My plants' trichs have been best , bigger and taller with larger heads since I added old 250 watt CMH to my white LEDs for some UV. Also has infrared and average metabolism has picked up. They use much more water in my ROLS.

This is exactly what i was thinking till i get it figured out. im gonna throw a 150hps in the middle of the two white leds , maybe a 400w. Is there UV in cmh?
I dont "think" hps has uv in it so im still assuming the lost factor is 820nm. I been doing hps for many moons so the only thing i got to compare to is hps and something is missing from my white lights with added 630nm.
I mean my temps are low but i dont think that is the main factor here. 75-80f.

CMH will give some UV and a very full spectrum as well as adding efficiency, some IR keeps my containers warmer. That may be a positive factor. I’d run a 315w along with boards but I have 8 CMH bulbs total in 250/400 watts that are new. Decided to get some use out of the old Philips 4000k bulbs. GrowerHouse sells more 315 CMH than anything.

So one of the question in charge would be - if that heavy SPD HPS spike @ ~820nm does anything for the plants? And if so, what?
So I can't vouch for the science, but there is a very, very long read from a Hawaiian grower (and seed seller/chucker) who goes to great length to explain the difference between bud grown in Hawaii vs everywhere else is that Hawaii has more UV light in one sunset than most places get in a year. And that UV specfically creates more THC-V, which is the more newly recognized portion of THC that provides the wavy, awesome feel that Hawaiian bud has.

The feel he references is in all the Hawaiian strains in varying degrees. He theorizes that strains grown in Hawaii for a long time have evolved into producing more THC-V than strains from elsewhere.

I can say that the Hawaiian feel...and I have tried it since the early 90s, is unique and it is embodied best to most people in how Maui Wowie feels. But that wavy crazy buzz is stronger in other Hawaiian strains.

NOW having hyped that b.s. as much as I have...I will send you the link first if you want Kass and you can curate it and decide if it is pure marketing or truth.

Well if its the extra uv light causing an increase in THC-V. wouldnt be any plant grown in Hawaii just be increased in THCV? I dont believe the plant evolved, if you take a strain originating in hawaii and grow it in Canada it would no longer get the extra uv light. idk sounds like a sales gimmick to me but im no scientist

ill try to get some real pics up later of hps vs led in my world. im not sure a camera will see what im seeing. the cam is going to make it look more trichy like all cams do.... I am interested in UV and i have some but thats not my main point here.... im trying to figure out what hps has that led dont have. Only thing i know of is IR. (and a lower kelvin temp) Once i figure out whats missing , i will carry on an try everything else. (uva and b , far red and IR ect...)
For now im only looking at one factor till i figure that factor out. The only thing i have added to the 3k is 630nm reds and not many of them. At this point , i guess i could say im not wanting to know what makes the weed the best , im only wanting to know the difference between leds and hps.

In truth, both HPS and LED can grow dank sticky quality buds. It has a lot more to do with the genetics and overall skill of the grower, than it does a specific light spectrum.
ya, im getting more scientific then that but i totally agree.
