What size dehumidifier to help reduce chances of mold in late flower ?

I grow mostly long flowering strains and I am looking into getting a dehumidifier to use in late flower and during the drying process. I plan on putting the dehumidifier in the room that the tent is located in, not inside of the tent itself. What size dehumidifier would be a good choice? I do not want to add a huge amount of wattage to the load on the circuit of the room. What is the smallest size that would be effective? How many pints? 25 pint? 40 pint? Thank you.

Anyone have any thoughts? I thinking of purchasing one this week, while I have some extra $$

Need a lot more info to give any suggestions.

I bought one from lowes for 300 bucks..works great for a 500 square foot area

I normally flower 2 plants at a time. I recently downsized the flowering tent to a 2x4x6.5 The room that the tent is in is 10x13. I am planning on keeping the dehumidfier outside of the tent and try to dry the air that is being drawn into the tent during late flower and during the slow dry process. Humidity can top out at around 60-70% during late flower depending on the season of course.

At least 30. 50 is better

I have been looking at a few of them @ Walmart for arounf $200-$250

I got a digital one, set to the humidity % you want and let it run. Don’t know how accurate 50% is but its better than high, medium or low.

I'll probably go with the 50 to be safe. Do you know how many watts one of those pulls from the wall? Thanks

Around 600w for a 50

I'd go for a 50 or a 70. The price difference between the two is often negligible. Keep in mind that even though they may be rated for 600w, it's likely that they won't continuously draw that much, as most will turn off when the desired level is reached, and then switch back on when the rh increases.

I jusr bought a 50 pint on amazon for 144 shipped. Kesnos brand. Has a couple nice features for growing. For one, if you cut power and then return it, it will power back on at the setting you had. This means you can run it on a more accurate humidity controller with day/night functions, etc. Also has a button to disable all lights on it.

I’ve got a 60 pint Pelonis I got from menards for 169 hooked a hose on the back ran it to floor drain. Works really well just set it and forget it.

I got a 70 pint airplus dehumidifier on Amazon for $150 works great in my grow room.
