Any rough estimate thx
That great info, thanks a lot. I was give this light today @https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07RRZGRBY?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_titleI think they say an LED system with around 350w of actual wattage will grow the same amount as a 600w.
if you’re referring to those blurple 600w and 1000w panels found on Amazon they are around 125w and 150w respectively.
You want to be able to use something like HLG LED panels or lumatek etc with Samsung diodes and meanwell drivers etc.
a good decent LED panel that actually replaces a 600w HPS system will run you around £200-£400 / $275-$500.

It came without manual, says around 200-240 act power but I really don't know
Mars Hydro lights say 158W can replace 400W hps.
I was just throwing ball park fig's at the poster's question.I'm not trying to have an HID vs LED conversation as both will grow good weed. My issue is with the way LED manufacturers market their lights. I don't care what Mars Hydro says. I'll take a 400 watt HID over a 158 watt at the wall LED. The claims they make are ridiculous. The online sites are full of cheap LED's claiming to replace X amount of HID watts. It's false advertising.
There is no way in hell a 300 watt LED is comparable to a 1000 watt HPS/MH, even with a good LED light.
Any rough estimate thx
I just noticed they are comparing it to a parking lot light.. I need some sleep lolThat chart also shows 600 watt CFL as the same as a 1000 - 1500 watts of HID. That chart is the marketing nonsense I'm talking about.
The text on the bottom is telling. They refer to HID lighting "If they're still even working".
I have a 1000 watt magnetic ballast that's at least 20 years old and still working. Even with multiple grows the light the bulb produces will blow away any 300 watt LED.
