What The Fux

So today I began my normal regiment, it hits noon. I go to turn on the lights and freaking nothing... Mind you for the past few days I've had to unplug everything else in the room then turn on my lumatek 400w set and even then sometimes it wouldn't come on until I tried a few more times. I had no Idea what's going on. Thought it was the electrical in my room... No check all of that, Then thought it was the light, So I shot it up to the nearest shop and had them test it and everything was fine. Freaking out now because my girls have been in almost 2 days of darkness (while in 6th week flower) and frantically searching the net I find that the Lumatek 400w silver ballast (my model) was recalled because it's crap or whatever. So I had contact the seller because it was purchased through amazon and they were talking crazy. That my warranty was only 3 months, I'm like bullshit... the makers have a 3 year and 1 year on the lights and they say call you!

Either way after long dark day, they said they'll send me a new (old model) and i'll have to contact Lumatek for the new exchange, but on their site it says contact the seller for exchange. "Sigh" I'll let you know how it goes...

Also really wish I could medicate, but I gave it up for lent as part of my "fast". Man I cant wait til the Easter.

Wow..that sux...I might have the same one...mine is also silver but the only issue I have had was with my HPS...stopped working halfway through one grow.

Hey man you sound like a good guy I am catholic as well. So the shop tested it and it worked there but it just wont work in your house? That is odd I have a Hydrofarm self ballasted fixture and have never had problems like that I would hate to have to ship anything back that is as heavy as a HPS fixture. I hope all works out for you bro!

this is why you shouldn't purchase from the internet. buy it from a store and you'll get legit warranty coverage. simple as that

Indeed! I ended up going back to the shop and the guy cut me a really good deal on a 1000W /w a Air cooled reflector and magnetic ballast, my wife got it for me :3. Went home and got it all set up. It's running nice and fine, and as for the old one that's coming in Monday I'm giving it to a friend. He's using CFL's so he's happy to hear about my run around lol

Also Lent is over and man... My friend welcomed me off my fast with some awesome super silver haze and some bubble gum. The T break was need, haven't felt this medicated since high school.
